Overview
It is an exciting time for Wellbeing Solutions as we continue to expand our clinical team of In-House Counsellors who deliver telephone support using brief, solution-focused therapy to the employees of our growing customer base.
This is an exciting role offering the opportunity for regular, guaranteed work with a vast array of mild, moderate to severe clinical presentations.
We are looking for candidates who have experience in providing effective therapeutic support to clients, experience in providing brief solution-focused therapy is ideal. Experience in clinical note-taking and therapeutic assessments is also ideal.
The right candidate will have excellent communication skills, and excellent time-management skills and be confident in their approach to learning the intricacies of our bespoke software systems and administrative requirements.
Due to the remote nature of this role, it is essential that a reliable broadband connection is installed in your place of work. You must have a comfortable and private home working setup and be competent and confident in using technology.
You must meet the minimum qualification requirements of a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling (any theoretical orientation) or equivalent. Accredited membership of a professional body, such as the BACP, or proof of working towards a certified membership would be ideal.
As a Wellbeing Solutions employee, you would receive a company pension, 25 days paid annual leave (pro-rated), as well as in-house training and in-house supervision.

£28,000 FTE
(Video & Telephone Counselling)
We are always seeking accredited affiliate counsellors to join our growing network of clinical professionals, providing employee mental health support.
Our affiliate counsellors deliver telephone and video counselling to employees of businesses who have contacted us to provide mental health and wellbeing care. This is an exciting role offering the opportunity to receive a steady number of remote clients for Brief Solution Focused Therapy (BSFT).
You will work with a vast array of mild, moderate to severe clinical presentations, identifying goals and building solutions within a fixed number of EAP sessions.
Wellbeing Solutions place a high value on clinical note-taking, assessment skills, excellent communication skills, as well as IT skills in order to interact comfortably with our online provider portal.
To become an affiliate within the Wellbeing Solutions network you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Diploma in Counselling from a BACP accredited course
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience
- BACP Accreditation, UKCP Registration or equivalent
- Training in and experience of providing brief therapy
- Over 450 supervised hours of counselling delivery
- Experience delivering counselling remotely via telephone and video
- Skills in quick rapport building
- Business efficiency
